Where did the Time Go?

Add a couple of classes & all the attending homework and then mix well with a summer schedule of compressed homework and class dates; throw in a bit of a social life and regularly scheduled get togethers and you have time flying by. Today after class, I got an updated advisement on requirements for an RN certificate, forgot about checking with the college cashier if I needed to pay any more to pay off the summer semester; then got home and needed to wash dishes to put in dishwasher, then change bed linens, then eat lunch, then vacuum part of the house and do homework today and part of tomorrow and the weekend. Have an exam on Tuesday early a.m. Wow, we are already at mid-term! Time is zooming by.

I had the most fun lunch with my friend and her lovely sister. Delicious food and getting to compare notes with like-minded folks. How nice! While I have a nice social life, I don't often get together with people who are more liberal minded. Such a good time. I look forward to alot of happy times. Of course, they are moving close to Santa Fe and closer in to the mountains. I hope that I get to do something like that sometime in the next ten years. I have lived in AK which was surprisingly highly conservative and was fairly independent-minded in regard to the population. Spent 11 years there and with our current home more approachable; still I do yearn to be in a more liberal community.
